		Faith Infusion: Ancient Truth. Relevant Spirituality.
		We're a group of people that comprises the contemporary worship service of Armstrong Chapel United Methodist Church who meet at 11:11 am every Sunday in the sanctuary of the church to worship God. What does that mean, and what's the point?
		FAITH INFUSION
		It's the name of a group of Christ-following worshippers of God, but it's also descriptive of an experience. We start out just thinking there is a God, in theory…but when we go beyond that to actually talk to, listen to, and follow God by interacting with and trusting the person of God known as "Jesus," that's called "faith." When that faith is present and infused in your soul, God sends the Holy Spirit to be infused in your heart and life so that you have a renewed ability and power to live life to the fullest. We're seeking that kind of Faith Infusion, and we invite you along for the journey!
		ANCIENT TRUTH
		We're over a hundred people who passionately strive to know God deeply and to connect with God in such a way that it transforms our lives into lives of peace, strength, love, and effectiveness. We believe the ancient truth that God is "triune"--God the Father Almighty, God the Son Jesus Christ, and God the Holy Spirit--three persons of one God. We believe the ancient truth expressed in the Apostle's and Nicene Creeds of authentic Christianity that followers of Jesus Christ have believed for centuries. We believe that Jesus Christ is the embodiment of Truth, 100% God and 100% human, whose life, death, resurrection, teaching, and interaction with us can save us from the despair, destruction, and evil that confronts us. We also utilize other ancient elements in our attempts to connect with and worship God, including the Lord's Prayer, Holy Communion, baptism, and other ancient practices. They connect us with the past, invigorate us for the present…and then we're ready for the future.
		RELEVANT SPIRITUALITY
		We're modern people with modern concerns and modern tastes in music, media, technology, and language…and we believe God can meet us where we are in ways that fit our modern culture. The messages delivered relate to where you are in life. They show how our connection with God helps make sense of the world and helps us live in the world whether we're leading a multibillion dollar company or preparing for college. The lyrics to our music reflects ancient truth, but the beat and instruments are modern and worthy of radio time. Since God is love, and God is present everywhere, God must care about every detail of every moment of our lives! When we truly connect with God, and humbly follow God's Son Jesus, he helps us to go out and serve others wherever we are with love that will eternally change those people's lives for the better. It's a transfer of love that happens, starting in our own soul, that is contagious and beautiful…and we want to share that experience with YOU!
		A Contemporary Service
		When we gather at 11:11, we are coming together to connect with God, experience God, worship God, be empowered for life by God's Spirit, and be encouraged by the fellowship of the people. We pray, sing or listen to some quality modern music from our band Infused, enjoy multimedia that inspires and educates, engage with a speaker who conveys a message that connects with our lives, encourage each other, give to the Lord's work if we're led to, and leave refreshed, invigorated, and ready to live life in relationship with God by following Jesus through God's Holy Spirit!
		Of Armstrong Chapel United Methodist Church (UMC)
		We are one of four distinct worship experiences of a church that seeks to be "a church for all ages." In one church body, we have: people who worship in a little old country chapel on our property in a relaxed and informal manner; people who worship in a traditional manner in the sanctuary with a magnificent choir and organ; people who worship at Faith Infusion with a rock-band and conversational/interactive style; and teenagers who worship on Wednesday night at Vertical Impact on our campus with a high-energy, intense atmosphere. Each is unique and each is equal in importance to the others. Armstrong Chapel is a part of the United Methodist Church, with centuries old roots and a tradition of reaching out to others to tell them about Jesus and to help their physical needs, striving to live a holy/loving life, and following Christ in the tradition of Christians throughout the centuries. We're connected officially to other United Methodist Churches worldwide and spiritually to all Christ-followers all over the world!
